Residential Energy: Cost Savings and Comfort for Existing Buildings

An excellent 280-page guide to residential energy conservation, now in it’s 4th edition. Author John Krigger has aimed this book at energy specialists but the narrative is clear enough to be useful to homeowners who want to know the subject in-depth or want to do a lot of work themselves.  Filled with illustrations and tables, very well organized and indexed.

The Publishers of Fine Homebuilding have devoted one volume of their “Build Like a Pro” series to energy efficiency, and we’re glad they did.  This book has the finest illustrations and graphics of any book we’ve seen in this subject area. Very comprehensive and very practical.
