State Wide Home Energy Investigation Contest a Success!
April 2004
This year, twenty-five middle and high school teams participated in the
contest. Through their home energy investigation projects,
students learned valuable math, science and communication skills, and
they are making a real difference in their communities. the
winning schools, Central High School and Penrose Middle School, received
cash prizes, but more importantly they identified homes that will be
receiving energy efficiency upgrades. We plan to upgrade a minimum
of twelve homes with measures valued at more that $15,00 thanks to the
generosity of our many sponsors. For more information,
